Uniti’s Engineer II will develop and maintain transport network and continue to refine their skillset and grow their engineering career. Transport Engineering connects people to the apps and services we all use every day. • Plan, schedule, and report on the progress of a high volume of projects (Quickbase, Jira, Tableau) and organize multiple tasks and priorities
• Work with existing network infrastructure (DWDM, MPLS)
• Implement additional bandwidth to support new services
• Create job packages to include technical instruction and method of procedures

• A bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years related experience or 6+ years equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience or a combination of education and related Engineering/Technical experience required
• The ability to solve problems and a desire to grow professionally and individually
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
• Good organization, documentation, and technical writing skills
• Proficient in operation support systems (NGMSS or equivalent design systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation, self-discipline and are you ready to work in a team environment?

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Availability for after-hours scheduled maintenance, between 12:00 am & 6:00 am weekdays (weekend maintenance is uncommon, but not unlikely)
• Virtual office supporting organizations in eastern, central, and pacific time zones, with workspace allowing for interaction on camera and sharing with other employees

College degree and 2-4 years related experience or 6 + years equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience or a combination of education and related Engineering/Technical experience required

The compensation range for this position is from $63,400 - $83,200.
