We are seeking an experienced Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Lead to manage and optimize our digital delivery processes in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This is a site‑based role with flexible home office location in the U.S. In this key role, you will provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership by aligning technologies with internal and client goals, defining digital delivery scope for project estimates, and coordinating project technical setup and model deliverables.

As the VDC Lead, you will create and implement Design and Construction BIM Execution Plans for EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management); integrate VDC tasks including 3D logistics and safety planning, 4D scheduling, 5D Cost and quantity take‑offs; define, coordinate, administer and manage the use of the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction—including Docs, Build, and Coordination modules;

kick‑off, manage and track progress on Clash Detection for Design Teams and Trade Partners; lead clash resolution meetings; serve as BIM Subject Matter Expert on projects in design and construction; and coordinate laser scan data integration and facilitate Scan to BIM efforts. You will also manage model redline and as‑built processes, verify construction install with model‑based practices, create project processes and lead mobile‑device trainings for field employees, lead and facilitate reality capture and progress reporting for remote team members (including 360 Photos, laser scans, and drone data), and act as a technology lead offering in‑field technical troubleshooting, software support, model viewing, and mobile‑device applications.

As the VDC Lead, you will be involved with stakeholder collaboration and act as the Digital Delivery and VDC stakeholder and lead on Design and Construction projects. You will consult during business development during proposals and estimates, collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors, manage trade partner modeling efforts and quality through construction, and support team development by developing training materials and offering technical guidance.

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment on a project site and virtually
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems
• Willing to work on site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
