This role offers competitive base pay ranging from $69,500.00 to $95,500.00 per year.

At Jacobs, we strive to innovate across sectors, building smart environments that transform lives. The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer will work on cutting‑edge industrial and commercial facilities, enabling our clients’ critical business processes.

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Manage project schedules and technical quality for challenging engineering tasks.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class control systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience with instrumentation and control.

• Knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications.
• Experience working with data centers.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Forward‑thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
• Quick learner and driven to broaden knowledge base.
• Effective collaboration across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
