Your role: create and deliver focused, high‑impact reading workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners—and support us in scaling that program to campuses nationwide.
This position isn’t about lesson‑plan paperwork. It’s about data‑informed instruction, technology integration, and constructing a reading program that delivers results for thousands of students.
What You Will Be Doing- Conduct focused, high‑impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency skills.
- Create personalized motivational sessions through gamified literacy milestones.
- Review student performance data to refine teaching methods and identify actionable insights.
- Partner with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy tools using classroom feedback.
- Build scalable, AI‑enhanced content that helps early elementary students reach grade‑level reading proficiency.
- Teaching 90‑minute classes or adhering to a traditional curriculum—students master academic subjects through AI‑adaptive applications.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions to K–2 students.
- Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing students into groups, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre‑written curricula.
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and adjusting to student behaviors within those platforms.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Working With UsThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week) long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
