Job Duties

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law, seeks applicants for a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track position to teach Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure. The position is available beginning August 2027. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or

Experience:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school;
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education and/or

Experience:

  • Outstanding academic credentials;
  • Prior teaching experience;
  • Law review or moot court service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach classes as assigned;
  • Achieve teaching goals;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to teach;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and through electronic means of communication;
