UAMS Faculty Position – Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor
Located in the Department of Pharmacy Practice on the UAMS main campus in Little Rock.
Key Responsibilities- Advance teaching, scholarly, and service mission of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
- Participate in didactic and experiential teaching of pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and graduate students.
- Disseminate scholarly work through peer‑reviewed publications and professional/scientific meeting presentations.
- Develop an independent research program complementary to others in the College.
- Provide service contribution to the Department, College, University, and profession.
- Perform didactic teaching.
- Clinical teaching, clinical practice/direct patient care.
- PhD in a relevant area or Pharm
D plus completion of 1‑year residency training. - For those with clinical responsibilities: at least 3 years of clinical practice experience if not completed one year residency.
- Pharm
D holders must hold an active Arkansas pharmacist license or be eligible for licensure. - Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
- Completion of a PGY2 residency in a relevant area.
- Board certification in a relevant area (e.g., BCPS, BCCP, BCNSP).
- Post‑doctoral fellowship in an area of expertise relevant to the mission.
