Our client is a leading provider of steel fabrication, erection, construction, mechanical equipment installation, industrial maintenance, energy services, insulation, scaffolding, and sheeting/siding. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and workforce development, they are seeking a skilled trainer to enhance employee capabilities in both technical and professional skills.

Job Summary:

The Trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training to employees, covering a mix of hard skills (technical training, software proficiency) and soft skills (communication, conflict resolution, leadership development, etc.). This role is on-site in Little Rock, AR and will support employee growth by developing and conducting structured training programs that align with company goals.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Training:
    Deliver training on Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software used in daily operations.
  • Soft Skills Development:
    Conduct training on communication, conflict resolution, leadership, and teamwork to improve workplace effectiveness.
  • Training Program Development:
    Design, develop, and implement training materials tailored to the company's needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Onboarding & Continuous

    Education:

    Support new hire training and ongoing employee development initiatives.
  • Assessment & Reporting:
    Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations, reporting key findings to management.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with leadership, safety teams, and department managers to identify skill gaps and address training needs.

Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Required:

    Experience in a training, instructional, or workforce development role within construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to teach employees how to use these tools effectively.
  • Soft Skills Expertise:
    Experience delivering training on conflict resolution, communication, and leadership development.
  • Certifications (a plus): SHRM, PMP, or similar professional field certifications.
