Assistant Professor​/Cybersecurity

* Earned doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline;
* Proven track record of cybersecurity research and scholarly publications;
* Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels;
* Significant experience with community engagement, outreach, or collaborative partnerships.
* Develop and deliver courses within the new graduate-level cybersecurity program, focusing on offensive cybersecurity operations and AI security;
* Engage actively in collaborative research initiatives through the CORE Center with universities, industry, and government agencies;
* Enhance and teach cybersecurity, AI, and cyber-informed engineering courses at undergraduate and graduate levels;
* Establish and sustain an independent, externally funded research program;
* Produce high-quality scholarly publications and actively present research at major conferences;
* Supervise graduate students and potentially postdoctoral fellows;
* Participate in professional societies and contribute to academic community governance.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Central Arkansas cybersecurity industry representatives;
* Contribute through research, teaching, and service to enhance diversity, equity, and excellence in education;
* Fulfill additional departmental, college, and university duties as necessary.
* Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain a robust research program in cybersecurity;
* Proven ability to mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers;
* Strong teaching and curriculum development skills in cybersecurity and related fields at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
