## Assistant Professor of Elementary Education
* Ph.D. or Ed.D in a field related to Elementary Education (ABD candidates will be considered if the doctoral degree will be complete by the time of employment);
* Teaching Experience in a K-6 setting.
* Expertise in Math pedagogy;
* Experience in college teaching and evidence of scholarship or scholarly potential;
* Experience teaching in multiple modalities;
* A record of professional service activities.
* Teach undergraduate and graduate courses as assigned in face-to-face, online, and/or weekend formats;
* Advise undergraduate students regarding their programs of study and degree progress;
* Conduct scholarly and applied research;
* Serve on committees as part of faculty governance at the school, college, and university levels;
* Collaborate with local K-12 schools and community partners;
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
* Knowledge of elementary education as a field of teaching, research, and service;
* Skills to teach collegiate coursework in various modalities;
* Ability to advise students in their program of study and about career opportunities;
* Desire to engage in professional service activities in the community;
* Ability to work with faculty and staff in a collegial manner to engage in faculty governance and accomplish goals.
