The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) is seeking a full-time MD/DO Hematologist Oncologist in Little Rock. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology, Oncology, and Internal Medicine and skilled in the latest types of blood and cancer treatment methods and procedures. Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, located in the central part of the state.

Arkansans' can spend their weekends exploring the historic Arkansas State Capitol, wandering through the Arkansas Art Centers and museums, or enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful Ozark Mountains. With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live and explore the nation.
Work Load:
- 5 x 8 hours shifts or, 4 x10 hour shifts, depending on service needs
- 4-5 day(s) per week in clinic,
- Reduced clinic days when sharing inpatient call rounds
- Inpatient call rotation with assistance from a full Hospitalist team, I.M. residents, and Hem Onc fellows
Requirements:
At least 1 state active medical license; no revoked, suspended, or probation state licenses
An MD or DO from an accredited institution; or evidence of an ECFMG certificate.
Completion of Residency Training.
Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
Selective Service Registration is for males born after 12/31/1959.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Preferences :
U.S. Citizenship; in accordance with VA Policy, non-citizens considered if no qualified US citizens are selected.
