Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock is seeking a board certified/board eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our Women’s services team. The practice will lead the perinatal support services while partnering with physicians at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for call coverage. The hospital is also supported by an obstetric hospitalist program.
About the Position:
- The service area has over 3,700 deliveries annually.
- Level 3B neonatal services are provided.
- The clinical scope of the practice is broad and includes obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and inpatient/outpatient perinatal consultation for the management of high-risk patients.
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable with prenatal diagnosis, as well as obstetric and maternal complications of pregnancy with an interest in growing a Maternal-fetal medicine practice.
Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock has a 16 bed, high-risk antenatal unit staffed by labor and delivery registered nurses certified in fetal heart rate monitoring and newborn resuscitation, a dietician, certified lactation consultants and a Maternal Transport Team available 24-hours a day to transport high-risk obstetrical patients to Baptist Health by ambulance or Med Flight.
