We are seeking an experienced Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator to help grow a new clinical research site in the Little Rock area. Acceptable backgrounds include Family Medicine physicians or specialists in Endocrinology, Neurology, or other medical fields. Prior experience as an Investigator for clinical research trials is preferred. We offer flexibility with part-time or full-time commitments and adaptable schedules.

• Lead and oversee clinical trials at Headlands Research sites, ensuring protocol, regulatory, and ethical compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff, fostering inclusivity, diversity, and professionalism.
• Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives to stay updated on clinical research advances and diversity initiatives.
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications.
• Oversee subject safety, trial conduct, and informed consent processes.
• Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and research network leadership.
• Provide ongoing training and support to research staff.

• Previous experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator for clinical trials is required.
• Active and unencumbered MD or DO license in Arkansas required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with sponsors, research teams, and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and industry best practices in clinical research.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
