Call Center Operator

• Answer and direct calls for the medical, educational, and research facilities of the employer in a call center environment
• Provide after-hours answering services for outpatient clinics
• Assist with online physician call schedule changes as necessary
• Activate emergency codes within the hospital and campus as required
• Develop knowledge of employer services to provide community access and directions

• High school diploma or GED equivalent plus two (2) years of customer service and administrative experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic computer and keyboard skills, telephone etiquette, and general knowledge of office machines
• Ability to follow oral instructions and proficient reading and writing skills

• Previous call center experience
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology
