This role requires advanced spreadsheet skills, particularly in Excel, for building and manipulating bid forms with complex formulas. The ideal candidate will be capable of developing unit pricing with minimal design information and managing full estimates for complex civil construction packages.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience estimating civil construction projects, preferably in heavy infrastructure or site development.
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans, grading layouts, utility drawings, and structural details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and TEKLA EPM (or similar estimating platforms).
- Strong understanding of unit pricing, labor allocation, and material sourcing for civil scopes.
