Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
As a Construction Manager Work Package Owner (CSA), you will lead the planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design‑build delivery of client projects.
Key responsibilities- Host weekly meetings with the subcontractor, take notes, and align with the Subcontract Administrator.
- Ensure the subcontractor has the latest technical documents and that all RFIs and submittals are complete before submission.
- Monitor RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries, expediting assistance from engineering departments as needed.
- Visit subcontractor fabrication shops to expedite material deliveries and verify work progress.
- Coordinate material deliveries with construction management and the field superintendent to maintain sequencing.
- Track the subcontractor’s schedule weekly and address issues with the ACM and Subcontracts Administrator, working with site superintendents and project controls.
- Evaluate potential changes with the Subcontracts Administrator, including pricing, and coordinate with the subcontractor and cost control to process changes into Unifier.
- Review and approve pay applications before they are forwarded to the ACM.
- 10+ years of experience managing construction projects for Life Sciences and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems, contract management, delivery methods, team building, and client relationships.
- Demonstrated expertise in Construction Management for Civil, Structural, and Architectural projects.
- Experience leading contractors and superintendents on current scope and ensuring design documents are used for construction.
- Ability to manage CSA scopes of work from Bid Phase through execution, turnover, and close‑out.
- Experience monitoring project budgets and ensuring requirements are met.
- Working with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for CSA bid packages.
- Liaising between Subcontracts Department and Engineering to meet requirements and document changes.
- Collaborating with Subcontracts Administration, Project Controls, Accounting, Quality, and Turnover for efficient sub‑contract close‑out.
