About Our House

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate infant-Pre-K child development program in accordance with Arkansas Minimum Licensing Standards for Child Care Centers. You will also collaborate with staff to incorporate a two-generation approach to serve children and parents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising children at all times in various settings
  • Establishing routines and providing positive guidance
  • Documenting developmental milestones
  • Assisting in food service duties
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans
  • Implementing Conscious Discipline
  • Managing classroom activities and communication
  • Integrating children with special needs
  • Ensuring safety and cleanliness of the environment
  • Communicating with parents and professionals
  • Participating in community activities

Additional duties:

  • Engaging and tracking parent activity
  • Collaborating with team members for curriculum and program consistency
  • Attending team meetings and other assigned duties

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
  • Minimum 30 hours of professional development annually
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
