preferred qualifications
  • library experience working in cataloging, technical services, or with a government documents depository program, or an mls with related coursework on the former.
  • knowledge of marc, dublin core and other metadata schemas, and the arkansas documents classification.
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods, to move book carts, and lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to stoop, bend and reach.
  • software skills: digital asset management software (preservica); ils (sirsidynix); ms office suite; digital imaging/scanning software, ocr and image editing software.
