Summary ofJob Duties
The Work-Study/Student Worker is responsible for basic clerical tasks in a state agency or institution. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy. Typical duties include answering the phone, greeting and directing students, sorting/fileting documents, making copies, and other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Education and/or
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applied and awarded financial aid
- Eligible for a work-study award
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties such as answering the phone, greeting, and directing students
- Sort/file documents and making copies
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Adequate computer skills
- Adequate typing skills
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Knowledge of basic grammar
- Knowledge of computers & software applications (preferably MS Word, Excel and Google Drive)
- Ability to conduct research and compile data into report form
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Salary Information: $11.00/hour
