Bell & Associates has partnered with a growing Commercial Construction company located in Little Rock on a search for an Accounting Associate to join their Accounting Team. They are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in Construction, with AIA Billing and Lien Waiver background. This is an Immediate Need and they will begin interviews next week!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process invoices/AIA documents for payment; print and mail accounts payable checks; maintain and track ACH payments.
  • Maintain compliance for W9’s, Business Licenses, Certificates of Insurance, and Lien Waivers.
  • Verify and track purchase orders.
  • Perform data entry and spreadsheet management.
  • Maintain accounts payable files electronically.
  • Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; assist with discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Print and route accounts payable reports.
  • Assist with preparation of 1099's.
  • Assist with monthly closings.
  • Assist with related special projects as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accounting Degree from accredited college or related accounting experience.
  • Construction AP experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with AIA pay applications and lien waivers.
  • Knowledge of Procore and Sage Intacct Construction a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing prioritie
