Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and supporting accounts receivable processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and ensure information is properly entered into accounting systems.

- Utilize Quick Books and Net Suite to process invoices, billing statements, and other accounting documentation.

- Assist in identifying and correcting errors within the system to improve financial accuracy.

- Support accounts receivable processes, including handling a backlog of revenue-related tasks.

- Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and verify transactions.

- Monitor and manage billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

- Provide administrative support for finance-related activities as needed.

- Maintain organized records of financial data and documentation for audit purposes.

- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify information.

- Contribute to streamlining accounting processes and procedures. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with Net Suite or similar software.

- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices.

- Ability to process invoices and billing statements effectively.

- Familiarity with financial documentation and reconciliation procedures.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented and capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
