Lead Deli & Bakery Clerk

Overview

The primary focus of this position is to assist in the management of the Deli/Bakery in the absence of the Department Manager, ensuring continuous delivery of exceptional guest service and outstanding leadership for Deli & Bakery staff. The role also requires maintaining the superior quality and freshness of all salad, sliced meat, and bakery products while upholding health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Assist in the complete management of the Deli/Bakery when the Department Manager is absent.
• Provide continuous delivery of exceptional guest service.
• Lead and motivate Deli & Bakery staff, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain quality and freshness of all salad, sliced meat, and bakery products.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Train new employees and educate guests at the Deli/Bakery counter.
• Create a fun and friendly atmosphere to attract guests.
• Engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
• Keep display cases fully stocked with product.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
