Job Summary- This is a Full Time Day shift position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
The Sepsis Coordinator is responsible for providing performance improvement (PI) support and leadership to various clinical and non‑clinical service lines, participating in concurrent and retrospective review, facilitating PI teams, and coordinating all aspects of the medical staff peer review process.
What You Will Do In This Role- Identifying and coordinating activities geared toward improved patient care processes and outcomes for the septic patient population
- Collaborating across the organization with appropriate leaders to develop metrics, data collection methodologies
- Provide analysis to achieve department and organizational performance improvement goals
- Develop reports that support PI activities
- The Sepsis Coordinator maintains communication with administration, medical staff and departmental leaders regarding PI activities
- Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required, Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in critical care or emergency nursing.
- Recommended experience in quality improvement
