Working with Azure Cloud services, including VNets, VNet Peering, Network Security Groups, Private Link, Azure Express Route, Azure Private Endpoints, Azure User Defined Route Tables, Resource Manager, NSGs, Private DNS Zones, Azure Internal and External Load Balancers.
Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network settings, DHCP address blocks, DNS settings, security policies, and routing.
Configure NSGs for two-tier and three-tier applications and integrate on-premises servers with Azure.
Deploy and manage applications in data centers, virtual environments, and the Azure platform.
Expose virtual machines and cloud services in VNets to the internet using Azure External Load Balancer.
Configure IPSEC VPN tunnels between Cisco and Forti Gate devices, including Forti Gate-to-Forti Gate connections using IKE pre-shared keys, 3
DES, and MD5.
Implement Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention technologies.
Manage Fortinet Firewalls, configuring Forti Gate 3600E, 2500E, and 1100E series as per network architecture.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to HSRP, VLANs, WLANs, EIGRP, Ether Channel configuration, port errors, etc.
Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA is required.
EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, Engineering (any) or a closely related field with twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered or as a Network Engineer, IT Consultant, Analyst, Programmer, Engineer, or closely related role.
ExperienceAt least twelve (12) months of experience working with Firewalls or Network Security is required. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA is required.
