Aerospace Instrument Support is equipped with a highly skilled team of engineers and factory-trained A&P technicians who bring extensive industry and OEM experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Denton TX, for an Engine Overhaul Mechanic. The primary responsibilities include performing comprehensive maintenance and repair of engines, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, and ensuring engine components meet FAA and EASA standards. The role also requires inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining hydraulic systems as part of engine overhaul tasks. Collaboration with the technical team and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential aspects of daily operations in this role.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in general aviation reciprocating Engine Overhaul and repair
  • Experience in troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in general Maintenance & Repair procedures
  • Ability to work in compliance with FAA, EASA, and OEM standards and guidelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A&P license or equivalent mechanic certification is preferred
  • Previous experience in aviation-related engine overhaul or similar roles is highly advantageous
