** What’s involved in this role:
** The Production Trainer is trained to effectively and safely carry out the duties/tasks of each position within production. This position will conduct all hands-on and classroom training for new hires and make ups.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*** Conduct all hands-on and classroom training for new hires and make ups.
* Oversee and manage training checklists for employee being trained.
* Learn to carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
* Assisting in the production process and learning various tasks.
* Assist with document control.
* Data entry.
* Fully trained in all departments.##
** Other
Duties and Responsibilities:
*** Maintain a clean work place, free of safety hazards.
* Use proper personal protective equipment at all times.
* Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
* Safety Protocol + Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. + Correct or report any observed safety hazards. + Support safety policies and programs.

* Education Required:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
** Experience
Required:
*** Previous work experience in a food safety/manufacturing environment preferred.
* Training experience preferred.
** Certification/Licensure
Required:
*** None

* Skills Required:
*** Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
* Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
* Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
