Position: Mental Health Practitioner I (Little Canada, MN)

Description

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner I to join our Long-Term Residential program
. These are full-time positions that are responsible for providing a supportive environment for our clients.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Full-Time: 10a-6:30p or 11a-7:30p

Location: Little Canada

Hiring Range: $22 - $23.76/Hourly based on qualifications
** Hiring bonus $1,000 external candidates

Main

Job Duties
  • Document interactions with clients into organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and if applicable, program-specific documentation/record-keeping system, while providing clear and concise communication with client, staff and other applicable parties.
  • Effectively interact and exhibit behavior that is consistent with customer service and professional standards established by the organizational, division and program.
  • Responsible for medication administration in accordance with organization and program policies and procedures.
  • Using person-centered principles, actively engage with clients in their daily activities, and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support the client in meeting their individual goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional responses while prioritizing client and program safety.
  • Independent Living Skills, teaching and/or coaching, as it relates to the individual’s goal and/or treatment plans.
