Position Objective
Coordinate logistics services to ensure all transportation needs are fulfilled to keep project(s) on schedule and on budget.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $45, yearly. Compensation beyond this range may be considered, depending on specific experience.

- The dynamic nature of the live events industry requires flexibility to work overtime, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, as dictated by project schedules and client needs.
- Book travel (air, ground, per diem) for ATOMIC employees and clients.
- Quote inbound and outbound shipments for MODs and Custom Fabrication.
- Coordinate trucking and transportation needs for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Assist in coordinating internal truck schedule for ATOMIC Driver.
- Reserve logistics equipment as required by Warehouse or Onsite (e.g., forklift).
- Proactively communicate with internal departments and clients regarding status.
- Track and ensure shipments are on schedule to meet project timeline.
- Problem-solving through delays and costs.
- Develop relationships with vendors to ensure best service and price.
The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Logistics Lead, and works closely with Project Managers, Account Managers and Department Leads.
Desired Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work within a budget.
- Working knowledge of scenic construction and rigging.
- People skills leading to the ability to work with / lead various personality types.
- Effective communication skills across all levels.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and planning skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of shop tools, hardware, equipment, and a variety of materials and finishes.
- 3-5 years of logistics, purchasing or procurement experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Maintain current passport and if applicable current driver’s license / clean driving record.
- Ability to perform typical office tasks using a computer and phone in a typical office environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Typical office environment for the majority of the time with occasional work in a warehouse environment.
