Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Chef Manager to join our culinary team at Brethren Village
,an upscale Life Plan Communitylocated in Lititz, Pennsylvania
. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career!

This Chef Manager will report to our Executive Chef and assist with leading a team of approximately 25 employees. This position will oversee all aspects of food production, quality assurance, safety, and service. The ideal candidate will have strong sanitation knowledge along with high-volume dining experience. Typical shift is 10:00 am - 6:30pm may vary with every other weekend coverage.

• oversee daily operations of the kitchen serving approximately 285 assisted living and skilled care residents;
• be hands-on;
• ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed;
• mentor and train cooks;
• assist with ordering and inventory;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
• mentor and train cooks.

• a background in food production with strong cooking skills;
