** About The Opportunity
** The Floor Lead ensures an acceptable finished product for our customer. The person in this position is responsible for overseeing of the production line leaders and that the floor operates in a productive manner. The Floor Lead is also responsible for directing and training all new Line Leads in the production processes, safety, and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs).
** Job Description
** Essential Job Functions The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.  Works in conjunction with the Quality Department to ensure positive production results  
• Inspects products every hour or more frequently if the job is complex or critical in its design or use  
• Reviews rate date of the jobs running on the production line and makes adjustments if necessary, to increase efficiency  
• Ensures all production document is completed both correctly and accurately  
• Maintains a professional demeanor and performance in supervision of staff  
• Perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job  
• Serves as a backup to the Production Supervisor  
• Trains line leaders in all aspects of production  
• Assists line leads in training line workers  
• Responsible for maintaining company safety environment  
• Responsible for effectively managing company procedures and policies  
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Desired  
• High School Diploma/GED and/or one or more years of experience in warehouse production preferred  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities  
• Understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, team player with ability to multi-task  
• Ability to plan in advance for production  
• Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written  
• Ability to collaborate with management to achieve required results  
• Ability to process information and merchandise through warehouse management system (WMS)  
• Knowledge Microsoft Office    

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Required to stand up to 8 plus hours a day  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion  
• Must be able to reach, squat, stoop, bend  
• Must have physical dexterity of hands and fingers  
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested
