POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused professional to support and grow our commercial insurance book of business. This role blends customer service with proactive inside sales, requiring strong product knowledge, exceptional follow-up, and the ability to build trust-based relationships with business clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Client Service & Account Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, providing accurate, timely, and professional support
- Provide clear explanations of coverages, policies, endorsements, billing, and certificates
- Maintain precise, up-to-date client records and documentation
- Prepare and deliver confirmations, receipts, and policy documents
- Identify coverage gaps, risk exposures, and discrepancies, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Ensure all work meets carrier, agency, and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of commercial insurance products and services
- Follow established workflows, procedures, and quality standards
- Review policies, endorsements, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
- Follow up on delegated tasks, renewals, endorsements, and outstanding items
- Support risk mitigation through careful review and attention to detail
- Take ownership of assigned accounts and deliver high-quality final results
- Proactively follow up on quotes, proposals, and client communications
- Support new business and renewal sales through education, explanation, and value-based conversations
- Confidently discuss insurance solutions that protect clients’ businesses and livelihoods
- Build rapport and trust through consistent, encouraging, and responsive service
- Serve as a positive, professional voice of the agency in client interactions
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
- Comfortable working within structured processes and established standards
- Naturally organized and dependable with strong follow-through
- Confident and engaging communicator who builds cooperative relationships
- Motivated by helping clients understand and value insurance solutions
- Supportive, encouraging presence with both clients and teammates
- Commercial insurance experience preferred
- Licensing required or willingness to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision
- Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office technology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
