Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations and work closely with our CFO. This role is ideal for someone with accounting fundamentals who wants to grow skills and advance in a stable, expanding aviation company.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger documentation
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, expense reports, and statements
  • Match invoices to purchase orders; verify pricing, quantities, and items
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Analyze, sort, and code purchases to accounts, business units, jobs, and payment terms
  • Perform monthly ledger account reconciliations
  • Process vendor payments and record credit card/cash transactions
  • Support Accounts Receivable: invoicing and collections
  • Maintain organized records per company procedures
  • Support internal teams and uphold company values
Qualifications
  • 2+ years accounting experience
  • Experience with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Familiarity with Quick Books or similar software a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
