Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 18 months of circulating experience and an active GA or compact RN license for a hospital-based position.

Job Details

• Work in the Ambulatory Surgery Center Operating Room within a hospital setting,

• Day shift, 10-hour shifts,

• 13-week assignment,

• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand,

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Minimum 18 months of circulating experience in the operating room,

• CVOR RNs must have at least 18 months of recent full-time CVOR experience in a similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong cardiac and vascular procedure experience,

• CNOR certification and prior travel experience preferred,

• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted,

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year prior to returning, and 18 months if returning to the same facility,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include OR circulating duties for surgical patients in an ASC setting,

• Strict rules apply for requested time off; a maximum of 5 days RTO allowed unless near a holiday, when only 3 days are allowed,

• Only one holiday request is permitted per assignment,

• Holiday RTO requests cannot cluster multiple days together,

• Candidates may only submit to one position at a time,
