Description
The Twelve Stone Infusion Centers LLC manages the infusion needs of patients and maintains the continuum of care, from intake, assessment, and treatment through the completion of their visit. Our primary focus is the safe and effective administration of biologic medications (e.g., Remicade, Tysabri, etc.), but we also offer a full range of infusion services including antibiotics, hydration, vitamins, iron, and steroids.
On occasion, there is a need for sterile dressing changes and lab draws.
We are currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner for our infusion center located in Lithonia, GA. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs in an outpatient setting. We welcome NPs from all medical backgrounds with a positive attitude, preferably outstanding IV skills, and an active license in the state of practice.
Responsibilities- Provides patient and family centered IV infusion care.
- Facilitates consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team.
- Incorporates the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings.
- Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with physicians, health professionals, health-related agencies, patients and families; works effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
- Promotes mutual respect and trust while working within a team model.
- Reviews, updates and recommends relevant medical, clinical and administrative policies, procedures and education & skills to help assure high quality patient care.
- Actively participates in quality initiatives; maintains accurate and timely records and reports; participates in patient service and program reviews.
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school.
- Active and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you practice.
- Current active board certification with ANCC or AANP (or NCCPA with an active, unrestricted license in the state you practice).
- CPR certification (BLS minimum, including hands‑on/in‑person assessment).
- 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a clinical setting required, or 3+ years as an RN in oncology, ER, ICU, and/or infusion center.
- Infusion experience is required.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
- Initiative, creativity, problem‑solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
- Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care.
- Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach to patient care.
