Position SummaryWhat you'll do:
As a member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance on power equipment and building fixtures to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics in a warehouse environment. You will operate under the supervision of the Maintenance Area Manager, adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, and conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairs of facility equipment and fixtures.
You must be comfortable working in extreme climates, as the facility may not be climate controlled. The work is physically demanding and fast-paced with a strong focus on safety for yourself and others. Attention to detail and safety are critical in this role.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, repairs, and conducts preventative maintenance on material handling and building equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Utilizes established PM and repair policies and procedures to return equipment to fully operational status.
- Reads and understands technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) to repair/maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoots complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
- Works as a team member with operations and other technicians to support the facility in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to understand workload and record actions (e.g., work orders, asset/labor history, inventory usage).
- Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
- Performs daily preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment) according to procedures.
- Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- General: 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (for example, forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment).
- Maintenance Technician: 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (for example, forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment); experience in blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Notes
The hourly wage range for this position is $29.55 - $33.05. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
