This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervisions, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant. McDonald’s USA will not receive a copy of your employment application and it will have no involvement in any employment decisions, including whether you receive an interview for the job or whether you are hired.
Manager – Responsibilities
- Lead shifts every week ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results.
- Oversee the Guest Service, Kitchen, and People Departments to ensure quality service, food safety, and excellent staffing.
- Guarantee that crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed effectively, and that all staff are trained in service procedures.
- Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
- Maintain high‑quality, fast food delivery while controlling food cost and ensuring safety; train kitchen staff in production procedures for existing and new menu items.
- Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet restaurant sales and profit goals; recognize and motivate crew throughout their employment.
- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to hold a management position in corporate‑owned restaurants.
