Level 3 Data Center Operations Technician
Location: Lithia Springs, GA
Schedule: Day Shift Training/Transition to Night Shift
Type: 3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire
About the RoleWe are seeking Level 3 Data Center Operations Technicians to support a large-scale, enterprise data center environment in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who thrive in mission‑critical environments and enjoy hands‑on hardware troubleshooting.
This position offers a structured training period followed by long‑term night shift placement, with strong potential for full‑time conversion.
Schedule RequirementsTraining Period (First 90 Days):
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
After Training:
Transition to a night shift schedule (required)
Candidates must be able to commit to a night shift schedule following the training period.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced server hardware troubleshooting and break/fix support
- Diagnose and replace components including CPUs, GPUs, memory, power supplies, and networking hardware
- Support rack and stack activities, hardware installations, and structured cabling
- Respond to infrastructure tickets and operational incidents in a timely manner
- Assist with liquid cooling systems where applicable
- Maintain compliance with data center operational and safety standards
- Collaborate within a fast‑paced, high‑availability environment
- Experience in a data center environment OR strong hands‑on IT infrastructure support experience
- Server hardware troubleshooting and break/fix experience
- Familiarity with enterprise hardware components (CPUs, GPUs, operating systems)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑urgency environment
- Willingness to transition to night shift after training
- Experience in enterprise or hyperscale data centers
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Security+ or Network+ certification
- Military technical background
