Senior Automation Control Engineer

Sr Automation Controls Engineer:
Seeking an Sr Automation Controls Engineer with minimum 7 years of hands‑on, in‑the‑field experience, installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, integrating, and qualifying industrial control systems. Life Science experience is a plus. Extensive experience working with and around industrial equipment integration is a must.

• Collaborate with IT/OT teams to integrate manufacturing equipment and systems into the data fabric architecture.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for data acquisition, transformation, and transmission.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other industrial control systems.
• Ensure secure and reliable data flow from edge devices to central data platforms.
• Support the deployment of edge computing devices and IIoT gateways.
• Document system configurations, workflows, and integration points.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and post‑deployment phases

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider).
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, UNS and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with IIoT platforms and edge computing devices
• Deep expertise with Ignition by Inductive Automation
• Experience working in GMP‑regulated environments
• Familiarity with validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position based out at Lithia Springs, Georgia.
