This is a full-time on-site role for a 7th Grade Math/Science Teacher located in Lithia Springs, GA. This position is for the school year. The teacher will prepare and implement lesson plans for 7th-grade math and science courses, assess and monitor student progress, and create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities also include collaborating with colleagues, communicating with parents, and participating in professional development activities.
Qualifications- Qualified Teacher with certification in relevant teaching areas
- Georgia Educator Certificate in either Middle School Math or Science
- Mathematics proficiency and the ability to teach middle school math
- Science proficiency and the ability to teach middle school science
- Experience in Lesson Planning and creating effective learning activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Relevant teaching experience in middle school settings is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field; advanced degrees are desirable
