Job Description
Pay Range: $53/hr – $58/hr
Requirements / Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Java software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java EE and enterprise application development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front‑end development.
- Experience modernizing and refactoring legacy codebases.
- Experience integrating new features into existing systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations to support eCommerce platforms.
- Experience enhancing and updating user interfaces.
- Experience participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation processes.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.
- Experience working collaboratively with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Design, develop, and implement new integrations and features using Java EE.
- Modernize and refactor existing applications to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Update and enhance user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform architecture and development processes.
- Knowledge of cloud services and platforms, preferably Azure.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of database technologies including SQL and No
SQL. - Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong enterprise application development expertise.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and architecture.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced and evolving environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
