Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

Base Pay Range

$16.00/hr – $18.00/hr

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and companion items.
• Register purchases, handle cash, process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and merchandised; perform inventory and record keeping.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision: enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, check interactions, and schedule workflow.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program.
• Attend required training and acquire continuing education credits.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
