Application Consultant – Azure Cloud Migration Experience

We are seeking an experienced Application Consultant – Azure Cloud Migration to lead enterprise cloud migration initiatives in complex, multi-cloud and hybrid environments. This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for driving Azure migration strategy, solution development, cost modeling, and delivery execution aligned with business objectives.
Experience:6–10 years in Data/BI Analytics with exposure to enterprise and financial data ecosystems. Technical Expertise:
Skilled in requirements gathering, data mapping, and translating business rules into FSD/TSD deliverables. Core
Skills:
Collaborates with engineering and business teams to define, validate, and test transformation logic and reporting outputs. Data Knowledge:
Deep understanding of CDP (Consumable Data Product) design, data lineage, and reporting workflows.
We are looking for a client-facing Cloud Migration Leader to drive Azure migration solution development and delivery across enterprise environments.
This role will lead migration platform solutions across multi-cloud ecosystems, including Private Cloud, AWS, and Azure, aligning technology strategy with client priorities and measurable business outcomes. The consultant will work closely with client stakeholders such as the CIO office, SMEs, program management teams, and consulting partners to design and execute hybrid cloud migration strategies spanning on-premises, off-premises, and dedicated cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading migration strategy development based on Value vs. Effort analysis
- Building cost-benefit models and providing inputs for ROI analysis
- Engaging with migration vendors and partners to evaluate tools, specialties, and solution fit (what tool, when to use it, why, and expected benefits)
- Contributing to and tailoring migration methodologies based on client industry and environment
- Driving migration solution design including effort estimation, costing, staffing models, client negotiations, and executive presentations
- Aligning solutions to client budgetary guidelines using a “Solution to Price” approach rather than “Price to Win”
- Leading prioritization discussions to deliver Minimum Marketable Product (MMP) outcomes
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience migrating applications and databases from on-premises environments to Azure, along with strong knowledge of Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and other migration tools. Experience establishing secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud networks is essential.
