Position Overview

International is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Internal Auditor with a strong foundation in internal controls, audit methodologies, and a focus on IT and data intelligence. This role supports the execution of financial, operational, compliance and technology‑driven audits while mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is ready to expand their understanding of our dynamic business landscape and contribute to high‑impact audit engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute full‑cycle internal audits across financial, operational, compliance and IT areas, aligned with department policies and the Global Internal Audit Standards, and tailored audit programs.
  • Perform audit planning: identify financial, operational, compliance, and technology risks; lead walkthroughs with process owners; and develop detailed audit programs and test steps to guide fieldwork.
  • Perform audit fieldwork: execute testing procedures, document results, and identify control gaps and inefficiencies across financial, operational, compliance, and technology areas.
  • Review and validate audit documentation and work papers for accuracy and adherence to internal quality standards.
  • Draft audit findings, present actionable recommendations to process owners, and contribute to audit reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit department.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor audit staff, providing real‑time feedback.
  • Foster career development opportunities and promote knowledge‑sharing across the audit team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of audit, accounting or finance experience.
  • Master's degree and at least 1 year of audit, accounting or finance experience.
  • At least 5 years of audit, accounting or finance experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H‑1B status).
Desired Skills
  • Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or financial controls—preferably within manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analytics or artificial intelligence tools and concepts (e.g., Copilot, Power BI, SQL, Excel) and IT frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO).
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or an advanced degree (e.g., MIS, Data Science, or Accounting).
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize findings, and think strategically across business functions.
