Location: Lisle Campus

Position Summary

The IBHE/ESHI Grant has been awarded to Benedictine University, in partnership with the College of DuPage, to provide support, education, and resources to students facing housing insecurity. This position will complete necessary logistical tasks to support efforts in providing these critical resources.

Essential

Job Responsibilities Processing and Distributing Resources
  • Marketing the program to students at BenU and COD
  • Collecting and evaluating applications for support
  • Working with staff at both institutions to allocate resources
  • Following and documenting the established process
  • Maintaining accurate records of resources distributed and when more resources are needed
Logistical Support of Programming
  • Follow the established implementation plan
  • Manage logistics for all programs within the grant: room reservations, travel support (when necessary), facilities support, food services, etc.
  • Communication development and sharing with both campuses
  • Program development when necessary
Other Functions
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine graduate student in good standing.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.

May require bending, or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The following of campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required.

Training

As a University employee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHA-related training to fulfill your job duties. Specific training will be conducted online or in person. Employees must complete all trainings required by Benedictine University.
