Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Liskeard, Cornwall

Salary: £34,600 – £38,600 DOE (including shift allowance). Overtime paid at premium (starting £3,500 per annum based on company average). Includes holidays, bank holidays, pension, and company sick pay scheme.

Working pattern:
Week 1:
Monday – Thursday 08:00‑16:30, Friday 13:00 onwards. Week 2:
Monday – Thursday 13:00‑22:15, Friday off.

A working 2‑shift pattern within a well‑established manufacturer. You will join a friendly team and be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance across the industrial production site, working with hydraulics, steam and pneumatic systems.

• 80/20 split between reactive and predictive/periodic maintenance (PPM).
• Work on heavy machinery across various production lines.
• Operate hydraulics, steam, and pneumatic systems.
• Shift‑pattern: 2 shifts.

• Experience working in an industrial maintenance role.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Ability to work in a stable, industrial environment (experience in any industry acceptable; ex‑forces candidates encouraged).
