Pay
Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 per hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours guaranteed
New colleagues joining us are offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
Note on availability and scheduling
The availability windows indicate the times in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times are close to but not exact with the advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you.

Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:
- Ensuring the van and trays used are clean and tidy
- Leaving the back yard clean, tidy and free of rubbish; pick up litter as you see it
- Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
- Loading the van, and checking the van for roadworthiness
- Talking to customers about any changes to their order, including substitutions, and offering a refund for items they are unhappy with
- Taking care of products and deliveries
- Explaining to customers that substitutions will not incur extra charges
- Delivering during the customer’s time slot
- Calling the customer before arriving if early
- Calling the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late
You will need
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
- Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
- Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs
- Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations while balancing home and work
- Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on store improvements
- A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
