We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Friends School, Lisburn. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern- 25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 3.30pm-8.30pm

- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – including weekly and periodic tasks.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH).
- Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
- Report immediately any equipment that is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use.
- Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriately at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and ‘warn’ customers where possible.
- Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times.
- Be knowledgeable in biohazard or biological hazard; we work in environments that may involve the cleaning of bodily fluids such as blood, faeces or vomit that can carry infectious diseases including hepatitis or HIV.
- Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by client and Mount Charles.
- Along with your team of cleaners, you will ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – including weekly and periodic tasks.
- Self-motivated, working independently and on own initiative to ensure set tasks completed.

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
