Digital Systems Manager

Lisburn Job Type: Full time with possible extension Salary: £24.41/h About the Role We are looking for an experienced Digital Systems Manager to join our IT team and lead the management, development and support of Line of Business (LOB) systems across the organisation. This role is key to ensuring our critical applications and services are secure, efficient and meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities IT System Management Manage and maintain LOB systems including Finance, HR, Fleet, Stores, Prevention & Protection and Operational Applications. Lead the development and implementation of new and existing IT systems. Manage daily service requests and incidents, ensuring SLAs are achieved. Oversee system infrastructure, security, compatibility, hardware, software and licensing. Work with suppliers on tenders, system demonstrations and technical support.

Communicate system issues and updates to stakeholders. Lead change management and release processes. Develop and maintain system documentation and user training. Monitor system performance, capacity and availability. Act as the primary contact for IT services in the absence of the Head of IT. Business Planning Support senior staff in delivering organisational strategic priorities. Lead development of solutions for complex IT challenges.

Provide expert advice on change projects and future planning. Assist with business cases, tenders and contract management. Contribute to long-term IT strategies and budgeting. Systems & Service Improvement Keep up to date with new technologies and industry standards. Recommend improvements and new technologies to maximise efficiency. Support IT projects using strong project management principles. Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with information governance and best practice. People Management Provide leadership and support to IT colleagues. Supervise, guide and allocate workload to IT team members. Participate in recruitment and staff development. Build strong working relationships across teams and departments. Governance, Data & Information Assurance Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements. Provide advice on legislation, governance and audit processes.

Liaise with internal and external audit teams as required.

Essential Criteria You must meet one of the following pathways:
Option 1 Degree in ICT, Computing, Systems Development or related field AND Minimum 2 years' experience as a Systems Manager Option 2 HND in ICT, Computing, Systems Development or related field AND Minimum 3 years' experience as a Systems Manager Option 3 Minimum 5 years' experience as a Systems Manager with clear evidence of duties and achievements Apply Now Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
