We are looking for an inquisitive, technically‑minded engineer to join our growing team at Cirdan Ltd. As an Integration Engineer, you will build the bridge between our Laboratory Information System (LIS) and the wider healthcare ecosystem, ensuring vital patient data flows accurately and securely.
What You’ll Be Doing- Building & configuring: deliver new implementations by developing robust integrations using the Rhapsody Integration Engine and our proprietary Unix‑based engine.
- Investigating & resolving: provide production support by analysing complex data flows, predominantly in HL7 v2, to troubleshoot issues, identify message contents and root causes, and resolve problems at the source.
- Working with tech: navigate a Unix environment, query Oracle databases, investigate application functionality, understand integrated systems, and select appropriate tools.
- Collaborating & improving: spot problems and opportunities for improvement, and work with other teams across the company to ensure our solutions and processes are best‑in‑class.
- Engaging with customers: work directly with technical and clinical stakeholders at hospitals and laboratories to understand their needs and deliver truly valuable work.
- Future‑proofing: support the transition of healthcare integration toward modern best practices and new technologies, such as FHIR, while most customers rely on HL7 v2.
- Technical problem‑solvers: experience or desire to master healthcare integration problem‑solving with a broad toolkit, confident navigating command lines to web UIs.
- Key technologies:
Unix, Rhapsody Integration Engine, JavaScript, SQL, HL7 v2. - Excellent communicators: enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues and customers, confident in technical conversations and translating them for non‑technical stakeholders, celebrating successes and speaking up when uncertain.

- Experience with healthcare, laboratory workflows, or clinical information management.
- Familiarity with regulated environments (ISO 27001, medical device regulations).
- Exposure to modern standards (HL7 FHIR, RESTful APIs, JSON).
