About the Home
Located on the peaceful outskirts of Lisburn, Pond Park Care Home is set in a beautiful rural setting and offers a warm, supportive environment for residents and staff alike. Our 52‑bed home is spread across three specialised units, providing General Nursing and Dementia Nursing care.
About the RoleThe Domestic Assistant supports the Housekeeper in maintaining the environment of the Home, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and a welcoming atmosphere. The role works closely with care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where residents feel safe and cared for.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home.
- Cover domestic duties as assigned.
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management.
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.

- Previous care home experience
- Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
