Autism Initiatives invites applications for full‑time and part‑time Support Worker positions in Ballinderry, Northern Ireland. The role supports individuals with autism in daily living, developing independence, accessing work, education and leisure activities.

Salary: £12.48 per hour

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full & part‑time;
Waking night shift: 8:30 pm – 8 am

About the role: You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting them in a range of activities, and helping them to develop independence in daily living, access work, education and leisure opportunities. The role involves working across multiple services, including unsocial hours and weekends.

Essential criteria:

  • Working, voluntary or personal experience in care and/or support.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis with job rotation in various services, unsocial hours and weekends.
  • Registered or able to register for NISCC.
  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle for at least one year.
